Top corporate houses recruit students from 1st Batch of MBA Banking & Financial Engineering
Apex Institute of Technology (AIT) at Chandigarh University, Gharuan has recorded 72 percent summer placement for its very first batch of MBA Banking & Financial Engineering (2015-17) batch. The flagship program which started last year only in collaboration with ICICI direct, Tally Solutions and FLIP (Finacle Learning Partner, Infosys) has received tremendous response from corporate world which has shown interest in recruitment of the MBA-BFE program.
The on-going summer placement season for the first batch of MBA-Banking & Financial Engineering has been successful in the term that 6 companies have recruited 62 participating students from the batch offering them lucrative packages. Major recruiting companies belong to Banking, Financial and Assets Management Companies which selected about 94 percent of the students while the remaining 7 percent of the total selected students were recruited by companies belonging to FMCG sector. HDFC Bank emerged as the major selector of the MBA-BFE students as it selected 34 while another company from Mutual Fund category, IDBI MF selected 15 students for its Assets Management domain. Other major recruiters included ICICI Mutual Funds, UAS International (An International Investor Bank), YERA and J&K Bank.
