Team Race Headers wins GoKart Racing Competition on the 2nd day of Tech-Invent 2019

Team Race Headers from the host University, CU completed 21 laps in half an hour and bagged the first position in the GoKart Racing Competition on the 2nd day of the National Tech-Fest “Tech-Invent 2019”. GoKart teams from more than 16 Universities and Engineering Institutions all over India took part during the Tech Invent 2019. In a nail-biting finish team Kai Runners from CU completed 19 laps to bag 2nd position.

Team Kai Runners dominated various categories of events under Go-Kart competition. The team also won Best Acceleration Vehicle award and Best Designed Vehicle Award during the competition. While team Tyros from Chandigarh University won the Brake Pad Test competition in the Go-Kart category. The 2-day National Level Tech-Invent 2019 ended today on a high note with talent among the students being rewarded for their innovation and ideas. Results of all 88 categories of events were declared and winners were honored with Cash Prizes and Certificate of Merit. More than 6000 teams from 250 Universities, Institutions and Colleges took part during the National Technical event.

Deepak Gamat, Theme College of Engineering, Mumbai won the first position in Chakravyuh (Maze Solver) competition while Puneet Bhandari & Suresh Kumar from PEC Chandigarh came second in the event. Techno-Pedagogical Innovation event was won by Nasrual Kawari & Team from Adesh Institute of Technology, Faridkot while Jawed Ahmed from the same college won 2nd position. The aerospace engineering event Quadcopter was won by Vikas Verma, CGC Landran while Nandesh Kumari from SLIET Longowal bagged 2nd position. Amphibian Bot event was won by Anil Jain, Punjabi University Patiala as his bot was able to complete the task in 1 minute and 30 seconds while bot prepared by R.K.Singh, Chandigarh University took 1 minute 52 second and finished second.

 Major Singh, Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University bagged the first position in E-treasure Hunt while Project Fair event was won by Harjot Singh, GNE Ludhiana. The hotel management event Lost Recipe was won by Harshit Pant and Chandan Singh from Amarpalli College while Capture the Flag event was won by Keshav Kumar & Shubham Rai, UPES Dehradun.

One of the most exciting flagship event was to build economic and environment-friendly Smart House which was won by Siddhardth Popli from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana
