Under the corporate interaction program of Chandigarh University the engineering students of petroleum, chemical, civil and mechanical engineering got an opportunity to meet President – HR Essar Group | CEO – Essar Foundation Mr.  Kaustubh Sonalkar.

While giving details about the working of corporate sector, Mr Kaustubh said that although the technologies used by the companies are changing at a very fast pace yet the fundamental learning which are desired by the recruiters are same and hence the students have to prepare their basics strongly which can be updated according to the changing demands once they get selected by the companies.

 He advised the students not to forgo their passion and plan their future in such a way that they are able to pursue their passion along with academic learning. The demand for fresh and highly skilled talent will never decrease but it is highly recommended that the budding professionals should keep themselves updated with the latest and emerging technologies so that they can become indispensable for the organization they work for. He further added “the university is not only providing exposure to the students in terms of learning, skills and knowledge but also concerning personality development and employability but eventually the onus is still on an individual to integrate the opportunities in the best possible way.”
