Teams bags 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze Medal to bag top position in Youth Festival
Team Chandigarh Polytechnic College, Gharuan has lifted the overall Cultural Trophy by winning a tally of 4 Medals in the 20th edition of PTIS Inter Polytechnic Youth Festival organized at Government Polytechnic College, Bathinda. Teams from Government Polytechnic College, Batala and Thapar Polytechnic College, Patiala were adjudged joint runners-up in the Youth Festival which concluded with the prize distribution ceremony. Technical Education Minister, Punjab Charanjit Singh Channi gave the winning trophy to the students of CPC Gharuan. Teams from more than 20 Polytechnic Colleges participated in the PTIS Inter Polytechnic College Youth Festival.
Ravi Thapa a computer science engineering students from CPC Gharuan won first position in the Solo Dance Competition in which Government Polytechnic College, Khoonimazra & Ramgharia Polytechnic College, Phagwara bagged joint 2nd position. The Bhangra team from CPC Gharuan bagged 2nd position while Guru Nanak Dev Polytechnic College, Ludhiana won 1st position in the competition. Cheorgraphy team of CPC Gharuan won 2nd position, while GPC Batala won first position & GPC Bathinda won third position in the competition. Deevansh Sharma a mechanical engineering student from CPC Gharuan won 3rd psotion in the Folk Song Competition which was won by Ramgharia Polytechnic College Phagwara.
