Microsoft Expert and CU Alumna Kamakshi Bawa Leads Seminar on Tech Innovations

CU Campus - Chandigarh University continues to strengthen its commitment to preparing students for the professional world through initiatives that bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations. In line with this vision, the Department of Career Planning and Development (DCPD) organized the Career Catalyst Seminar, providing students with valuable insights into emerging technologies and industry trends.

The seminar featured Kamakshi Bawa, a distinguished alumna of Chandigarh University and a technology expert at Microsoft. She delivered an engaging session on Networking, Operating Systems, and Machine Learning, helping students connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. Sharing her professional journey, she encouraged students to explore opportunities in the tech industry with confidence and determination.

The event began with an address by Prof. (Dr.) R.S. Bawa, Honorable Advisor to the Chancellor, who emphasized the university’s efforts in fostering industry-aligned education. 

Following the knowledge-packed session, a memento was presented to the guest speaker in appreciation of her contribution. Prof. Pardeep Bansal, Executive Director of DCPD, concluded the seminar with words of encouragement, reaffirming the university’s dedication to providing students with opportunities that enhance their career readiness.
