273 International Students from 24 Countries Get Degrees During Annual Convocation at Chandigarh University As many as 273 international students from 24 countries were awarded undergraduate and postgraduate degrees during Chandigarh University's International Convocation – 2026. The graduating students were comprised of 247 undergraduates and 26 postgraduate students from different parts of the world who successfully completed their degrees in 57 academic programmes in academic domains including Engineering, Management, Computer Applications, Health Sciences, Commerce, Humanities and emerging technology disciplines. The convocation was graced by Peter Munyiri Maina, High Commissioner of Kenya as Chief Guest who congratulated the graduating students on their academic achievements and encouraged them to use their knowledge and skills to contribute towards the progress and development of their respective nations. Chandigarh University Organizes Summer Camp ‘Udaan’ for Underprivileged Children; Comedian Kiku Sharda Inspires Young Participants Chandigarh University (CU) under its Institutional Social Responsibility (ISR) initiative, organized a 12-day special summer camp ‘Udaan - Summer Camp for Holistic Development of Children’ for underprivileged children. More than 50 children from orphanages and economically weaker sections residing in slum areas participated in the camp which was held from June 2 to June 13 at the university's Gharuan campus. The camp was organized by Chandigarh University in association with NGO Maharishi Dayanand Bal Ashram to provide children with a platform for learning, self-discovery and personal growth during their summer vacations through a variety of engaging and experiential learning activities. Chandigarh University Launches 3-Month ‘SANDBOX Residential Program‘ & Centre of Excellence in Digital Marketing’ During AI Fest 2026

  Students participating in a Robo War competition during AI Fest 2026 at Chandigarh University campus. Mohali – Chandigarh University launched a 90-day SANDBOX Residential Program under which top 30 of 300 startups, who  made a pitch during its three-day AI Fest 2026, will be provided mentorship and resources on a single platform to help accelerate their go-to-market (GTM) stage in three domains – AI, Deeptech and Media.  Strengthening its innovation network further, Chandigarh University also launched a Centre of Excellence in Digital Marketing operating on an “earn while learn” model. The Centre will allow students to work on live industry projects and consultancy assignments while gaining hands-on experience with AI-powered digital tools.
