Addressing

said, “India today is at a stage where the opportunity is not merely to consume
what the world has built but to build solutions for India and take them to the
world. Make in India has to be taken to the next level build for India and make
in India. With 1.4 billion people and a rapidly growing economy, India is a
land of opportunities, and the youth have a very important role to play in
building for the vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047. The youth today should not chase
a job but instead chase a problem. There are problems all around us and every
problem presents an opportunity to find a solution and create value for
yourself, society, the country and the world.”
Pramod
Marar, MD & CEO, Satin Finserv Limited said, “As you step out of the
university and into the real world, one of the most important things you will
carry with you is not just what you have learnt, but how you engage with
people. In my experience of more than 25 years in the corporate world, I have
learnt that people engagement ultimately makes a real difference. You will work
with people with different personalities, perspectives and expectations, so be
authentic, manage your emotions, respect others’ views and have the courage to
question the status quo. You cannot fake yourself for long, so remain true to
who you are. I would also encourage you to dream big and, more importantly, put
yourself in a position to turn those dreams into reality. I see that spirit of
openness at Chandigarh University as well—the openness to feedback, to
different perspectives and to continuous learning—which will serve students
well as they move forward.”
