India’s First AI Augmented Multidisciplinary Chandigarh University's Uttar Pradesh Campus Inaugurated by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Next Generation Futuristic Campus of the country’s first AI Augmented Multidisciplinary Chandigarh University Uttar Pradesh, Unnao.



Dignitaries present at the grand inauguration ceremony of the campus included UP Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyaya , UP Technology Development , Export Promotion , NRI and Investment Promotion Minister Nand Gopal Gupta , MP (Rajya Sabha) and Chandigarh University Chancellor Satnam Singh Sandhu, Unnao MP Swami Sachchidananda Hari Sakshi Ji Maharaj , Chandigarh University Managing Director Jai Inder Singh Sandhu , Chandigarh University Pro-Chancellor Professor Himani Sood and representatives from over 20 top Indian and global companies that have collaborated with Chandigarh University to offer industry driven academic programs.

On this occasion , the Chief Minister visited the newly established Centre of Excellence at Chandigarh University, Uttar Pradesh. Which has been established in collaboration with top global consulting firms KPMG and SAS , which are top in AI and machine learning.

Apart from this , Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also inaugurated the 'Centre for Universal Business and Entrepreneurship' (CUBE) at the Uttar Pradesh campus of Chandigarh University to empower India's next generation startup founders.

Built at a cost of over Rs 2500 crore on the Lucknow-Kanpur Highway , Chandigarh University Uttar Pradesh's sprawling smart campus spanning over 100+ acres features state-of-the-art infrastructure , sustainable design , advanced research , makerspaces, and world-class faculty and industry mentors. Chandigarh University Uttar Pradesh in Lucknow , Unnao, India's first AI City, has been built to provide multidisciplinary skills and global exposure to the students.

From the upcoming 2025-26 academic session , Chandigarh University Uttar Pradesh will offer 39 industry driven , future ready academic programmes across six major areas , including Engineering , Computer Science and Technology , Business Management , Health and Life Sciences , Humanities and Legal Studies.
