Chandigarh University attempts Limca Book of Records for preparing desserts of 195 countries
Students and staff members of University Institute of Tourism & Hospitality Management, Chandigarh University set a probable one of its kind record by making desserts of 195 countries and entry of this attempt will now be sent for inclusion in the Limca Book of Records.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. R.S Bawa, Pro-Chancellor, Chandigarh University said, “Chandigarh University is extremely proud of the achievement of students and faculty. The objective behind taking such an initiative by the University is to initiate out of classroom learning experience for students and to take up a worthwhile challenge”. Chandigarh University has already made it before to the Limca Book of Records by preparing 362 types of sauces in just 3 hours. Gurdeep Singh, Excise and Taxation Department, Ludhiana and Jasvir Singh Manhas, State Tax Officer, Ludhiana were present during the attempt and also played the role of judges.
