MOHALI: Chandigarh University celebrated the 114th national day of Bhutan with great joy and fervour, with its Bhutanese students at the Gharuan campus, here.
The brief but impressive event witnessed Bhutanese students studying at Chandigarh University enthusiastically participating in various activities, showcasing their talent and creativity through dance, music and other forms.
Dr RS Bawa, Pro-Chancellor of Chandigarh University, who participated enthusiastically in the event, congratulated the Bhutanese students on the occasion.
Bawa said that Chandigarh University always celebrates the famous festivals of India and other countries with students from different countries. Events like these, he remarked, give opportunity to the students to get acquainted with the cultures of different countries.
