University Delegations from US, Australia Ethiopia visit Chandigarh University; discuss possible collaborations
MOHALI: A
number of delegations from foreign universities in the United States of
America, Australia and Ethiopia visited Chandigarh University to discuss and
determine the possibilities of the potential collaboration with ChandigarhUniversity, including the deliberations on Distance and Online learning &
other possibilities to extend collaboration between the institutions.
Dr Sanjeev
Kumar and his team from South Dakota State University, USA visited Chandigarh
University on September 10, while delegation of four senior academicians from
two Australian universities- Prof Caroline Chan, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr
Gurpreet Singh, Director, South Asia, and Ms Ujala Gulati, Strategic
Partnership Advisor from University of New Castle, and Prof Prem Chhetri, from
College of Business and Law, RMIT University visited the campus on September
21.
A high-level delegation from Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia visited Chandigarh University on September 3. The delegation was led by Dr Firew Tegegne Amogne, President, Bahir Dar University and included Dr Esset Kebede Mulunch, Vice President, Academic Affairs, Dr Belayneh Kassa Anagaw, Vice Dean of College of Business and Economics, Dr Abebe Dires, Executive director of Continuing and Distance Education, Dr Belete Bedemo Beyene, Dean of Continuing and Distance Education, and Yibeltal Maru Mengesha, Director of Information and communication Technology.
