Chandigarh University's Aerospace Engineering students Akanksha Utkhedkar (21BAS1149) and Isha Kumari (21BAS1156) have emerged as the champions of MechAura 2024, a highly prestigious competition organized by Collins Aerospace and Pratt & Whitney.
MechAura 2024, aimed at celebrating engineering excellence and innovation, was open exclusively to Indian nationals and eligible third-year students. It provided a platform for the brightest women in the field to showcase their talents and explore opportunities within aerospace engineering.Throughout the competition, Akanksha and Isha demonstrated exceptional creativity, technical prowess, and innovative thinking. They navigated through various challenges, including online examinations and intensive interview rounds in Bangalore, impressing judges at every stage.As deserving recipients of the first prize, Akanksha and Isha have secured coveted internships at Pratt & Whitney Bangalore and received a cash prize of up to 1 lakh rupees each.
