1,900 International Offers Received by CU Students Reflect Varsity's Global Academic Horizons

Chandigarh — For many students, studying at prestigious global universities is a cherished dream, often hindered by financial and logistical challenges. Chandigarh University (CU) has been addressing these barriers, empowering students to achieve international academic success.

Since the launch of its International Program in 2014, CU has facilitated over 1,900 international study offers for its students across 37 countries. With nearly 900 students participating in internships, scholarships, and semester exchanges at top global universities, CU has secured scholarships worth a staggering ₹82 crores for its students. Notably, the highest individual scholarship awarded was ₹1.28 crores.


The university's International Transfer and Semester Exchange Program ensures that students have seamless access to academic exchanges and internships at renowned institutions worldwide.


According to Prof. (Dr.) Rajan Sharma, Director of International Affairs and Admissions at CU, “Global academic exposure is a cornerstone of our educational philosophy at Chandigarh University. Over the past decade, we’ve partnered with 502 top universities and industry leaders in 95 countries, enabling our students to gain invaluable international experience.”


CU students have had the opportunity to study at esteemed universities such as Deakin University in Australia, Vancouver Island University in Canada, and even participate in cultural and academic exchanges at Walt Disney World in Florida, USA. The university's extensive research network spans 250 universities in 60 countries, covering diverse fields such as Engineering, Hospitality, Management, and Sciences.


CU’s commitment extends beyond academic partnerships. The university offers comprehensive support, including in-house IELTS training and a streamlined visa process with a 100% success rate, ensuring that students can pursue their international education without unnecessary hurdles.


Recently, CU forged a partnership with Harvard University to offer a collaborative Business Management program. CU students will have the unique opportunity to be taught by Harvard faculty, access top-tier educational materials, and be evaluated alongside Harvard students, opening doors to prestigious global careers.
