CU Students Selected to Represent Punjab at Republic Day Parade 2025

Chandigarh University continues to produce exceptional talent across diverse fields, and this year is no exception.

CU Campus - In a remarkable achievement, Naina Singh (Department of Commerce) and Tanu Singh (Department of Airlines) have been chosen to represent both Chandigarh University and Punjab at the Republic Day Parade 2025, set to take place on the iconic Kartavya Path in New Delhi.

Out of only eight volunteers selected from Punjab, Naina and Tanu stood out for their unwavering dedication, hard work, and exemplary commitment to national service. This achievement is a testament to their discipline and the university’s focus on fostering leadership and community involvement among its students.

The Republic Day Parade is one of India’s most prestigious events, symbolizing unity, strength, and the nation’s cultural heritage. Both Naina and Tanu will join other select cadets and participants from across the country for a rigorous, month-long training camp in New Delhi from January 1 to January 31, 2025. This intensive preparation will culminate in their participation in the grand parade, which is witnessed by dignitaries, national leaders, and millions of citizens.
