Chandigarh University Hosts 333rd “Rendezvous with Alumni” for MBA Batch 2025

Chandigarh: The Department of Career Planning and Development at Chandigarh University recently hosted its 333rd “Rendezvous with Alumni” event, focusing on the transformative journey of MBA (flagship) Batch 2025 students as they transition from academia to professional life.

The event was graced by the university’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Manpreet Singh Manna, who delivered an inspiring address, encouraging students to strive for financial independence and to prepare themselves for future challenges. He emphasized the importance of making extra efforts in their current endeavors to be ready for tomorrow’s opportunities.

Alumnus Sourav Kumar Khatua, Representative of Strategic Solutions at Ikarus 3D, shared insights on the significance of perseverance, drawing from his own experiences with initial setbacks. He recommended that students take advantage of the Evening & Sunday Remedial classes offered by the DCPD for additional support.


Another alumnus, Mr. Manish Maheshwari, Senior Business Development Officer at JK Cement, highlighted the critical role of a strong LinkedIn profile and the value of acquiring relevant skills to enhance resumes. He also underscored the benefits of participating in Mock Interviews conducted during TPP sessions.
