CU Sets New Placement Records with TCS

Chandigarh -  In a significant achievement for Chandigarh University, 585 students from the 2024 batch have been offered placements by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). This accomplishment highlights the university's successful placement drive and the students' readiness for the professional world. Of the students placed, 26 received offers with salaries ranging between ₹9-11 lakhs per annum. Additionally, 179 students were offered positions with compensation packages between ₹7-7.3 lakhs per annum. This year's placement drive has demonstrated the strong industry connections and career preparation provided by Chandigarh University, ensuring that a large number of its graduates are successfully transitioning into their professional careers with notable companies like TCS.

Chandigarh University B-School team wins third position at prestigious National B-Plan Competition 2019 at IIM Banglore  Team comprising of seven young and budding entrepreneurs of Chandigarh University have won third position in the National B-Plan Competition 2019 organized by IIM Banglore. Considered to one of the most prominent and prestigious national competition for the young entrepreneurs, the event is attended by teams from renowned and elite B-Schools of the country and angel investors from India and Abroad. Asian Paints selects 7 Mechanical Diploma Engineering students from Chandigarh Polytechnic College India’s top and Asia’s third largest paint company, Asian Paints has selected 7 Diploma Engineering students of Mechanical branch from Chandigarh Polytechnic College, Gharuan during a campus placement drive. This was informed by CPC principal, Gurmeet Singh Swag while announcing the results. The multi-national has picked up a total of 13 students during in two years, out of which company selected 6 students in 2018 and 7 in 2019.
