Patna (Bihar) -  Mahi Swetraj, recognized as India’s fastest female swimmer, secured three gold medals at the 77th Senior National Swimming Championship held in Mangaluru (Karnataka), marking a significant achievement in her swimming career. Her performance at the event has drawn widespread attention, with the Bihar Chief Minister recently honouring her for her accomplishments. The Chief Minister of Bihar, at a formal ceremony, presented Swetraj with a cash prize of ₹2 Lakhs and offered her the position of Sub-Inspector in recognition of her remarkable performance and contribution to Indian swimming.
