Chandigarh - Chandigarh University’s Apex Institute of Management continues to provide transformative learning experiences by bridging the gap between academia and industry. MBA FinTech students recently had the opportunity to visit the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), where they gained an in-depth understanding of India’s financial ecosystem, monetary policies and the pivotal role of the central bank in shaping the nation’s economy. During the visit, students interacted with RBI professionals, delving into key aspects of financial regulations, technological advancements in banking, and policy frameworks.  This engagement provided invaluable insights beyond classroom learning, strengthening their foundation in finance and innovation. Experiential learning initiatives like these empower students with industry-relevant knowledge, fostering their growth as future-ready professionals and global leaders in FinTech.

CU Campus - The Department of Commerce at Chandigarh University’s University School of Business (USB) has recently been awarded a ₹12 lakh research grant by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) under the Vision Viksit Bharat@2047 initiative. The grant will fund research focused on advancements in Financial Technology (FinTech), a rapidly evolving field with significant potential for economic and social impact in India. The research project will be led by Dr. Munish Gupta as the principal investigator, with Dr. Nitin Pathak and Dr. Amita Chaudhary joining as key members of the research team. This grant acknowledges the team’s commitment to contributing to the growth of FinTech solutions that align with India’s developmental vision for 2047.
