New Centre of Excellence for Legal Studies and Mediation Opens at CU

CU Campus:  CU's University Institute of Legal Studies has inaugurated 'Madhyastha,' a Centre of Excellence dedicated to advanced legal studies and mediation, aimed at equipping the next generation of legal professionals with essential skills and knowledge.  The inauguration ceremony was graced by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Vikram Aggarwal and Hon'ble Mr. Justice Deepak Gupta from the Punjab & Haryana High Court. 'Madhyastha' is designed as a state-of-the-art facility, featuring cutting-edge technology and learning spaces to support both students and legal practitioners. Mock Placement Drive Prepares Law Students for Career Success

CU Campus -  On August 24, 2024, a Mock Placement Drive was organized for final-year law students, focusing on enhancing their preparedness for the competitive job market. Such initiatives are critical in bridging the gap between academic learning and professional expectations, offering students a practical understanding of the placement process. The drive featured a series of activities designed to mirror real-world placement scenarios, including Pre-Placement Talks, AMCAT Assessments, Group Discussions, and Domain-Specific Legal Interviews. These components allowed students to experience firsthand the demands of the legal job market, refine their skills, and identify areas for improvement.
