Changhua City, Taiwan : Riya Singh, a B.E. CSE Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning the student from Chandigarh University recently completed an internship at National Changhua University of Education, Taiwan, under the mentorship of Professor Wen-Ren Yang from the Department of Electrical Engineering . The internship, which took place from June to September 2024, provided an opportunity to work on advanced AI projects. The student contributed to two notable research initiatives. The first project involved the development of a two-factor authentication system that combined facial and voice recognition technologies, aimed at enhancing security in biometric systems. AI and IoT Take Center Stage at SmartTech Ideathon 2024

CU Campus -  Chandigarh University (CU) student Nagula Sai Sathvik, a member of the AIT-CSE department, has been selected for a three-month internship at the Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) Indian Space Research Organisation Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC). The internship is scheduled to take place from August 5th to November 5th, 2024. CSE Students Shine with Second Place Finish at IIT Roorkee Competition

A team of engineering students from Chandigarh University, known as INFAMOUS, achieved an impressive second place in the Token Trim competition at Cognizance 2024, hosted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee. The team, comprising Akshat Srivastava, Anubhav Pandey, Vaibhav Lucktoo, and Avishek Golder, received cash prizes for their accomplishment. The competition was part of Code Jam, a segment of the annual technical fest Cognizance. It involved various challenges that tested the participants' coding skills, problem-solving abilities, and innovative thinking. Team INFAMOUS faced numerous rounds, each presenting unique challenges.
