CSE AI/ML Student Secures Internship at ISRO’s ISTRAC

CU Campus -  Chandigarh University (CU) student Nagula Sai Sathvik, a member of the AIT-CSE department, has been selected for a three-month internship at the Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) Indian Space Research Organisation Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC). The internship is scheduled to take place from August 5th to November 5th, 2024.

Sathvik, who specializes in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), was chosen for this opportunity due to his dedication and successful completion of the TPP training program. This selection highlights the strength of CU's industry-aligned degree specializations, developed in collaboration with IBM, which aim to offer students exposure to advanced technologies and industry practices.


The internship at ISTRAC is part of ISRO’s efforts to engage with emerging talent in the field of space research and technology.
