Digital Learning Takes Center Stage at Coursera Scholar's Day 2024

CU Campus - The Department of Lifelong Learning at Chandigarh University successfully hosted "Chandigarh University Coursera Scholar's Day 2024," a significant event that underscored the future of online education. The event featured the launch of the Learning Marathon, recognition of CU's meritorious students and Faculty MOOC Coordinators, and the inauguration of Coursera’s Student Campus Ambassador Program.

The day began with inspiring addresses by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Manpreet Singh Manna and Hon’ble Director General Prof. (Dr.) Hridaysh Deshpande. Both leaders emphasized the university's ongoing commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration within the educational landscape.

Adding depth to the occasion, Coursera’s Regional Director, Mr. Bibin Shivas, along with Enterprise Manager Ms. Khushboo Kumar and Accounts Manager Mr. Karun Jain, shared their insights on the evolving dynamics of digital learning and its increasing relevance in today’s world.

The success of the event was further bolstered by the efforts of the organizing team, led by Dr. Sumer Singh Singhwal, Associate Dean (DLL), and supported by Shweta Agarwal and Kaljot Sharma from the Department of Lifelong Learning.
