CU Campus -  Chandigarh University, Mohali, successfully organized a Faculty Development Programme ( FDP ) titled " Introduction to IoT and AI: The Future of Connected Devices " from December 10 to December 14, 2024. The event, hosted by the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering and Electrical Engineering , was conducted in collaboration with the E&ICT Academy, CDAC Mohali, and funded by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) , Government of India. The FDP provided a platform for faculty members from various engineering and technology disciplines to gain advanced knowledge and practical skills in the fields of Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Changhua City, Taiwan - Chandigarh University is pleased to report that Aryan Kesarwani has been recognized by the National Changhua University of Education, Taiwan, for his successful completion of the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP). Aryan, an Electrical Engineering student, undertook an internship from May 31 to July 31, 2024, at the university’s Department of Electrical Engineering. Chandigarh University recently celebrated the achievements of two international students from the Department of Electrical Engineering , Mehedi Hasan and Md. Atiquen Nobi, both from Bangladesh. The students participated in the "International Online Internship Program and Project Competition," organized by Energy Mentors (USA) in collaboration with IIT Ropar. Their project, titled "Hydrogen Fuel Cell-Based Drones as Intercity Cargo Transporter," secured the Winner position in the competition, earning them a cash prize of $150. The project showcased their technical skills and innovative approach to solving modern challenges.
