Chandigarh (August 8, 2024) -   The University Institute of Media Studies at Chandigarh University has officially announced the commencement of the National Photography Competition 2024, inviting photographers from across India to participate. Based on the theme of 'Freedom,' this competition aims to provide a platform for talented photographers to showcase their creativity and skills in a competitive environment. Registration Details Participants need to complete their registration by 6:00 PM on August 15, 2024, using a designated Google form. A registration fee of ₹100 applies. It's crucial to submit entries on time, as late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances. CSE Students Shine with Second Place Finish at IIT Roorkee Competition

A team of engineering students from Chandigarh University, known as INFAMOUS, achieved an impressive second place in the Token Trim competition at Cognizance 2024, hosted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee. The team, comprising Akshat Srivastava, Anubhav Pandey, Vaibhav Lucktoo, and Avishek Golder, received cash prizes for their accomplishment. The competition was part of Code Jam, a segment of the annual technical fest Cognizance. It involved various challenges that tested the participants' coding skills, problem-solving abilities, and innovative thinking. Team INFAMOUS faced numerous rounds, each presenting unique challenges.
