CU Students Selected to Represent Punjab at Republic Day Parade 2025

Chandigarh University continues to produce exceptional talent across diverse fields, and this year is no exception. CU Campus - In a remarkable achievement, Naina Singh ( Department of Commerce ) and Tanu Singh ( Department of Airlines ) have been chosen to represent both Chandigarh University and Punjab at the Republic Day Parade 2025, set to take place on the iconic Kartavya Path in New Delhi. Out of only eight volunteers selected from Punjab, Naina and Tanu stood out for their unwavering dedication, hard work, and exemplary commitment to national service. This achievement is a testament to their discipline and the university’s focus on fostering leadership and community involvement among its students.   Chandigarh University celebrates the 75 th  Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism   Prof. (Dr.) Manpreet Singh Manna , Vice Chancellor Chandigarh University, unfurled the flag on the occasion of 75 th  Republic Day celebration at the campus. March past parade comprising of NCC Cadets and sports students of Chandigarh University gave salute to the National Flag. Furthermore, a vibrant cultural program showcasing the rich diversity of our nation, followed by a special airshow, was also presented by CU students in honor of Republic Day. While delivering his address on the occasion, Dr. Manna said, “It is the youth of any nation who holds significant potential in advancing its development and progress. And as India is moving towards becoming a developed nation by 2047, it is imperative for today’s youth to understand their responsibilities and roles so that they can contribute to the progress of the country to the best of their capacities.”

  Chandigarh University celebrates 74 th  Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism Dr. R S Bawa, Pro-Chancellor Chandigarh University, unfurled the flag on the occasion of 74th Republic Day celebration at the campus. March past parade comprising of NCC Cadets and sports students of Chandigarh University gave salute to the National Flag. The Department of Culture presented a colourful program showcasing the rich diversity of our nation. Pro-Chancellor Dr. Bawa gave honours to achiever students who brought laurels to the university in the field of academics and sports.  While delivering his address to the students, Dr. Bawa said, “It is the youth of any nation who can contribute big time towards its development and progress. It is important therefore, for today’s youth to understand their responsibilities and role as the nation is moving in the era of Amrit Kaal.”
