1,900 International Offers Received by CU Students Reflect Varsity's Global Academic Horizons

Chandigarh — For many students, studying at prestigious global universities is a cherished dream, often hindered by financial and logistical challenges. Chandigarh University (CU) has been addressing these barriers, empowering students to achieve international academic success. Since the launch of its International Program in 2014, CU has facilitated over 1,900 international study offers for its students across 37 countries. With nearly 900 students participating in internships, scholarships, and semester exchanges at top global universities, CU has secured scholarships worth a staggering ₹82 crores for its students. Notably, the highest individual scholarship awarded was ₹1.28 crores. Canadian Scholars Wrap Up Research Internship at CU

CU Campus - Chandigarh University recently concluded a research internship program that saw six Canadian students from various institutions engage in academic pursuits on its campus. The internship, fully funded, was part of the university's broader efforts to facilitate international research collaborations. The group included Erika Evasiuk from Olds College of Agriculture and Technology, Isabella Mathews and Ryan Michael Ware from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), Tristan Dell from the University of Alberta, and Jessica Sumbera from the University of Lethbridge. Their research focused on diverse fields including agriculture, technology, and environmental studies.
