Chandigarh University Hosts FDP on IoT and AI in Collaboration with MeitY and E&ICT Academy

CU Campus -  Chandigarh University, Mohali, successfully organized a Faculty Development Programme ( FDP ) titled " Introduction to IoT and AI: The Future of Connected Devices " from December 10 to December 14, 2024. The event, hosted by the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering and Electrical Engineering , was conducted in collaboration with the E&ICT Academy, CDAC Mohali, and funded by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) , Government of India. The FDP provided a platform for faculty members from various engineering and technology disciplines to gain advanced knowledge and practical skills in the fields of Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). ECE Students Excel at IIT Guwahati’s Microfish 2024, Secure Second Position

Guwahati, Assam - A team of engineering students from Chandigarh University has secured second place at Microfish 2024, a national-level competition held as part of Techniche, IIT Guwahati’s annual technology festival. The competition attracted participation from some of the country's leading institutions, showcasing cutting-edge innovation and problem-solving skills in the field of microelectronics and robotics. The CU team, operating under the name Team N3K, comprised Tarun S (team lead), Upasana Paul, Shreya Pratihari, and Swastik Kumar—all students of the university's Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) department. Gujarat - Students from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Chandigarh University secured the championship title at Robofest-Gujarat 4.0, a state-level robotics competition organized by the Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST). The winning team was awarded a cash prize of ₹50,000.
