1552 students awarded degrees at Chandigarh University’s Annual Convocation-2021 30 meritorious students get Gold medals, 28 awarded PhD degrees   MOHALI: The annual convocation of Chandigarh University was held at its Gharuan campus on Wednesday, during which 1552 students from the Liberal Arts, Sciences and University Institute of Teacher Training and Research departments were awarded degrees, including PhDs, Masters and Bachelors, for the academic year 2020-21. As many as 30 meritorious students were awarded gold medals, including 18 graduate and 12 postgraduate students while 28 students were awarded PhD degrees in the ceremony, in which In-charge, External Affairs Department, Dr Vijay Chauthaiwale and eminent theatre director, Padma Shri Dr Mr. Neelam Mansingh Chaudhary participated as the Chief Guests and presented degrees to the students.
