New Centre of Excellence for Legal Studies and Mediation Opens at CU

CU Campus: CU's University Institute of Legal Studies has inaugurated 'Madhyastha,' a Centre of Excellence dedicated to advanced legal studies and mediation, aimed at equipping the next generation of legal professionals with essential skills and knowledge. 

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Vikram Aggarwal and Hon'ble Mr. Justice Deepak Gupta from the Punjab & Haryana High Court.

'Madhyastha' is designed as a state-of-the-art facility, featuring cutting-edge technology and learning spaces to support both students and legal practitioners. The centre will offer specialized programs in mediation, legal research, and dispute resolution, addressing the increasing demand for alternative legal processes in modern judicial systems. 

 In addition, it will serve as a platform for practical legal training, fostering innovation in legal education.

The university aims for 'Madhyastha' to become a key hub for legal research and mediation studies, contributing to the professional development of law students and practitioners by offering access to unparalleled resources.
