CU Campus - Another Chandigarh University alumnus is in the limelight for innovation and public service. CU Alumnus Shivam Kumar has developed India’s first LLM-based chatbot designed specifically to address cybercrime concerns for the Punjab Police. This pioneering development highlights his unwavering dedication to leveraging technology for societal good and marks a significant step forward in enhancing cybercrime prevention in the state.
In a bid to further strengthen national efforts in combating cyber threats, Shivam is also collaborating with the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, as well as the Punjab Police. His work in partnership with these esteemed organizations is set to play a crucial role in tackling cyber threats at a national level, reinforcing the importance of collaborative efforts in the fight against online crime.Shivam’s contributions have not gone unnoticed. He has been awarded a prestigious Letter of Appreciation by the Additional Director General of Police, State Cyber Crime Division, Punjab, in recognition of his outstanding work and dedication to advancing the fight against cybercrime.
