CU Campus - Chandigarh University’s Astronomy Club, in collaboration with the Department of Aerospace Engineering, recently hosted an extraordinary event titled Galactic Gaze. This immersive Telescope Workshop provided students with the rare opportunity to delve deep into the world of astronomy, learning both the theoretical and practical aspects of telescope operation and space observation.
The workshop kicked off with a comprehensive session on the basics of telescope operation and maintenance, where students learned how to set up and calibrate telescopes efficiently. These crucial skills equipped students with the knowledge to engage in independent stargazing and contribute to future astronomical projects.The highlight of the evening was the night sky observation session, where students got the chance to observe the wonders of the cosmos.
