Chandigarh University remembers Mahatma Gandhi on his 75th Death Anniversary
Chandigarh University celebrated Martyrs' Day on 30th January 2023, organized by the Department of Student Welfare and NSS Division of the university. Martyrs' Day in India is celebrated every year on the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi to pay tribute to his sacrifices for the nation and honor his legacy. Event Wg. Cdr (Dr.) J S Minhas Additional Director- SWSC and Dr. Pardeep Kumar Program Officer NSS Unit, Chandigarh University, were the eminent guests of the event.

During the event, the volunteers and students of the university showcased several events, including patriotic songs, choreography and group performance. A video on the Life History of Mahatma Gandhi Father of the nation was also showcased to the students. The event concluded with a two-minute silence to commemorate the death of the Father of our Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.
