CU's IEEE Branch Shines at IEEE Delhi Section Student Award Ceremony 2024

New Delhi, India - Chandigarh University recently announced that its IEEE Student Branch has achieved remarkable success at the IEEE Delhi Section Student Award Ceremony 2024. The event, held on May 26th at Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, saw Chandigarh University's branch emerge as a standout performer among 50 student branches, securing an impressive 18 awards for the tenure of 2023-24.

- IEEE Outstanding WIE Volunteer Award: Five students were honoured with this prestigious award, recognising their exceptional contributions to the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) initiative.

- IEEE Outstanding Volunteer Award: Five students received this award for their significant volunteer efforts and dedication to advancing the mission of IEEE.

- JK Pal Memorial Award: Five students were awarded this accolade, celebrating their outstanding performance and contributions to the IEEE community.

- IEEE Delhi Section Student Network Award: Two students were recognised with this award, highlighting their exemplary involvement in the IEEE Delhi Section Student Network.
