CU Campus - Chandigarh University has become the first university in North India to launch the e-Sanad Portal, an online platform for document verification and attestation.
This digital service allows students and alumni to seamlessly verify and obtain apostille for their educational documents without the need for physical paperwork or long wait times. The initiative aims to simplify processes such as international university applications, work permits, and immigration by ensuring global credibility and swift processing of credentials.
The e-Sanad Portal is part of the Indian government’s larger move towards digitization and is seen as a significant step forward in improving the efficiency and accessibility of educational documentation.
The launch event was marked by the presence of Mr. Dilip Kumar Jha, Principal Secretary, IAS, NRI Affairs, Punjab, who served as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Sanyam Aggarwal, Joint Managing Director, IAS, as the Guest of Honour.
This initiative aligns with Chandigarh University’s efforts to integrate innovative digital solutions into its administrative processes, offering improved services for its students and alumni.
