on same day
With a mission
to mark legacy and strengthen the bond between the Alumni & current students,
Chandigarh University organizes 'Udayy-Ek Anubhav' on its
campus
With a mission to mark a legacy, Chandigarh
University Gharuan attempted to record the Most Number of Alumni Speakers in concurrent interactive sessions on a
single date under the banner of ‘UDAY: Ek Anubhav’. Organized and
coordinated by the Department of Alumni Relations (DAR), this one-of-a-kind
event has not been attempted prior by any other institute of higher education
in India. 48 alumni of 48 departments of the university delivered sessions to
the current students, where they shared their experiences, challenges,
professional journeys, and knowledge about the industry. The event was scrutinized
by Gurdeep Singh, Excise and Taxation Department, Ludhiana; and Malkit Singh
Mann, Assistant Director Youth Services, Patiala. Satnam Singh Sandhu,
Chancellor, Chandigarh University; Prof. (Dr.) R.S. Bawa, Pro-Chancellor,
Chandigarh University; and Prof. (Dr.) Devinder Singh, Pro-Vice Chancellor,
Chandigarh University were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Chandigarh University Pro-Chancellor Dr. R S Bawa said, “Chandigarh University Alumni Association is committed towards bridging the gap between the
current students and the alumni of the university. ‘UDAY: Ek Anubhav’ is an unique initiative by the Department of Alumni Relations that brought alumni of 48 different departments of the university to the campus, who conducted sessions for the students of respective departments at the same time. Their experiences, mentorship, and knowledge about the industry and its dynamic trends will act as boon for the current students of the university, and help them mould their mindsets for the challenges in the industry.”
Talking about the event, Ludhiana ETO Gurdeep Singh said, “Participating
in ‘UDAY: Ek Anubhav’ in itself is an achievement. It is a testament of the
commitment to excellence and the desire to achieve greatness. Being a judge is not
just a responsibility but an opportunity to witness the remarkable talent and
energy that you possess. It is the determination, dedication, and the spirit of
the youth to learn and share their knowledge that will take the nation on the
path of development.”
