Chandigarh - On September 2nd, students from the University Institute of Media Studies at Chandigarh University attended the live proceedings of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha. This visit coincided with the 7th session of the 14th Assembly.
During their visit, the students had the opportunity to observe the live Question Hour and various debates, providing them with a firsthand look at the legislative process. The visit was organized by CU's University Institute of Media Studies, aiming to offer students practical insights into how laws are discussed and enacted.
Professor Rajesh Sisodia, Director of Media Studies, emphasized that this experience would significantly enhance the students' understanding of the democratic process and the workings of legislative bodies.
