  Chandigarh University continues its success streak; bags 27 th rank among universities in NIRF 2023 ranking   CU emerges 7 th best university in North India Chandigarh University (CU) continued improving its performance among the public and private universities of the country and secured the 27th spot in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2023, released by the Minister of State for Education and external affairs Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, on June 5.     It has emerged as the 7 th best university in North India. Last year the University secured the 29th spot in the ranking among all the government and private universities in the country.   Annual Convocation for the 2023 batch held at Chandigarh University; more than 1400 degrees awarded   Chandigarh University held its annual convocation of the 2023 batch on June 9 in which over 1400 students were awarded undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD degrees. Of the total students who received their degrees, 45% were women. Further, 22 girls out of 35 have been conferred Gold Medals. 21 girls out of the total 35 have received their doctorate degrees.     Former President Ram Nath Kovind was the chief guest for the occasion, who awarded the degrees and Gold Medals to the achievers. Open and Distance Learning Annual Convocation 2023 at Chandigarh University

  225 degrees awarded to the PG batch of Open and Distance Learning in Annual Convocation 2023 at Chandigarh University   Chandigarh University Gharuan held a special ceremony for the Annual Convocation 2023 of the PG passing-out batch of Open and Distance Learning in Management, Computer Applications, Arts, and Commerce at its main campus. The chief guest of the occasion was D.P Singh, Chief Advisor- Chandigarh University and Head Skills-AWS India; Dr. (Prof.) R S Bawa, Pro-Chancellor Chandigarh University; and Dr. Manpreet Singh Manna, Vice Chancellor Chandigarh University; were also present on this auspicious occasion. Chandigarh University is the highest-ranked private university in India

  Chandigarh University is the highest-ranked private university in India Chandigarh University (CU) achieved a significant milestone and secured the first rank among India’s private universities in the latest edition of the coveted Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Ranking released on June 28.   As per QS world university rankings 2014, in which 2963 institutions were evaluated, Chandigarh University – continuing its success streak – has secured an overall rank of 771-780, which is higher than its 801-1001 rank in the previous edition of the ranking released last year. The university’s overall score in this year’s ranking is 15.2.   As many as 45 Indian universities have featured in the 20 th edition of the QS rankings and the all-India rank of Chandigarh University is 20 – among all public and private institutes.
