  With ‘Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat’ as theme, Chandigarh University celebrates National Science Day 2024   Chandigarh University (CU) organized the National Science Day celebrations on February 28, 2024, on the ‘Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat’ theme to emphasise the relevance of indigenous innovations by Indian scientists and the role of science in making India 'Atmanirbhar' and achieving Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a Developed India by 2047. Chandigarh University students shine as Champions at ‘Techacks 4.0’ hackathon; clinch ‘Best Hardware Track’ award and a Rs 10,000 cash prize CU students Aman and Karan emerge winners of ‘Techacks 4.0’ for developing innovative RISC-V Core and Computer Vision Model   In a remarkable display of skill and innovation, two Chandigarh University (CU) students of Electronics and Communications have secured the championship title at the prestigious ‘Techacks 4.0’ – a 36-hour in-person hackathon. The students have been awarded with the ‘Best Hardware Track’ award along with a substantial cash prize of Rs 10,000. During the hackathon, CU students – Aman Kumar Singh and Karan Gajanan Mali – showcased their expertise by creating a Single Cycle 32-bit reduced integer instruction set based RISC-V core.   Chandigarh University students honoured with ‘Citizen Scientists’ title by NASA NASA recognizes Four Chandigarh University students as promising contributors to Aerospace Four Chandigarh University (CU) students of Aerospace Engineering have been honoured with the prestigious title of Citizen Scientists by NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) under its renowned citizen science program – the International Astronomical Search Collaboration (IASC). With this accomplishment, CU students have made a mark as promising contributors to the field of space exploration and astronomy.
