ICSSR Recognizes USB Faculty with Grant to Advance FinTech Research for Vision Viksit Bharat@2047

CU Campus - The Department of Commerce at Chandigarh University’s University School of Business (USB) has recently been awarded a ₹12 lakh research grant by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) under the Vision Viksit Bharat@2047 initiative. The grant will fund research focused on advancements in Financial Technology (FinTech), a rapidly evolving field with significant potential for economic and social impact in India. The research project will be led by Dr. Munish Gupta as the principal investigator, with Dr. Nitin Pathak and Dr. Amita Chaudhary joining as key members of the research team. From Ideas to Ventures, Ignite 2024 Sparks Innovation and Startup Success

CU Campus - Ignite 2024, a two-day flagship event of Technology Business Incubator (TBI) has been inaugurated at Chandigarh University (CU) campus, providing a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs and startups from CU in order to transform innovative ideas into successful ventures. CU’s Legal and Forensic Students Gain Hands-On Expertise at 5-Day Crime Scene Investigation Program

Nobel Laureate Gerardus T Hooft award degrees to 926 CU students at Convocation

Mohali, CU Campus: As many as 926 students were awarded degrees during ‘Annual Convocation - Celebrating Milestones, Embracing New Beginnings’ held here at Chandigarh University. Presiding over the convocation ceremony as Chief Guest, Dutch Nobel laureate in Physics, Professor Gerardus T Hooft and Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha and Chancellor of Chandigarh University Satnam Singh Sandhu awarded degrees to the undergraduate and post-graduate students who completed their education from the varsity in different academic disciplines. Later, MP Rajya Sabha Satnam Singh Sandhu also awarded Nobel Laureate Professor Gerardus T Hooft with the honorary doctorate degree in sciences for his contribution in the field of Physics.
