MBA Digital Marketing Students Explore Digital Frontiers during Industry Visit

Aerospace Engineering Students Develop Revolutionary Gravity-Based Energy Model

Mohali, November 2024 – In a significant breakthrough for sustainable energy, two aeronautical engineering students from Chandigarh University have developed a patented gravity-based energy-generation model, offering a cost-effective and efficient solution for clean power. This innovative project, spearheaded by Annkit Sarkar and Tanishqa Gupta, marks a significant step forward in the pursuit of sustainable energy technologies. The patented model is reported to be 20% more efficient than similar technologies used globally. Its design not only simplifies the complexity of traditional gravity-based systems but also reduces the reliance on resource-heavy inputs such as water and sand. New Delhi: Chandigarh University, Gharuan, is celebrating another proud moment as its student Vanshika Shahi made a mark on the global stage by contributing to India’s silver medal victory in the 50m Rifle 3Position team event at the FISU World University Shooting Championship 2024. The Indian team, consisting of Sift Kaur Samra, Vanshika Shahi, and Manini Kaushik, displayed incredible skill and determination, narrowly missing the gold medal by just one point to the Czech Republic. Chandigarh University Reclaims Top Spot Among Private Indian Universities in QS Asia Rankings 2025

Chandigarh — In the latest QS Asia University Rankings for 2025, Chandigarh University (CU) has reclaimed its title as India’s No. 1 private university, underscoring its rise in quality education and global competitiveness. Moving up 29 positions from last year, CU has achieved a ranking of 120 among Asian institutions, placing it within the prestigious top 2% of higher educational institutions (HEIs) across the continent. India’s presence in the QS rankings has reached an all-time high, now surpassing both China and Japan in university representation. The 2025 rankings feature 162 Indian institutions, including 21 new entrants, compared to 145 from China and 105 from Japan.
