AICTE Chairman inaugurates India’s biggest International Faculty Exchange Program at Chandigarh University

Government has mulled a target of training more than 2 lakh faculty in emerging areas like Artificial Intelligence , Cloud Computing, Block Chain by 2022, says AICTE Chairman Prof. Anil D. Chandigarh University attempts Limca Book of Records for preparing desserts of 195 countries Students and staff members of University Institute of Tourism & Hospitality Management, Chandigarh University set a probable one of its kind record by making desserts of 195 countries and entry of this attempt will now be sent for inclusion in the Limca Book of Records. The objective behind taking such an initiative by the University is to initiate out of classroom learning experience for students and to take up a worthwhile challenge”. Students from Kerala at Chandigarh University celebrated Onam-The annual harvest festival in a traditional way   Traditional dance Thiruvathira performed during the celebration of Onam at Chandigarh University Onam the annual harvest festival of Kerala was celebrated by the students with great zeal and fervor at the campus of Chandigarh University. During the celebration the culture and heritage of Kerala was shown by students of Kerala by performing various activities . During the colorful and musical gala the students of Chandigarh University presented traditional folk dances of Kerala. More than 270 students from Southern states are presently studying in Chandigarh University under various courses. Chandigarh University Commemorate 75th Independence day

Chandigarh University Gharuan celebrated the 75th Indian Independence with great joy and enthusiasm. The celebration was attended by students and faculty of the university. The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag at Chandigarh University campus  by Dr. Satbir Singh Sehgal, Registrar, Chandigarh University. Following this, the students  put forth a cultural interlude through which they showcased the true essence of Indian Independence. The cultural program began with an address by  Dr. Satbir Singh Sehgal, Registrar, Chandigarh University which reminded the youth the significance of such a freedom experienced by a country like India and inspired the gathering. The program concluded with a medley of patriotic songs sung by the Chandigarh University students followed by the National Anthem.

Under the International Academic Alliance Program, Chandigarh University has established partnership with leading universities of 68 countries including Universities from USA, UK, EU, Canada, Australia, SAARC countries.
