Chandigarh University records Highest Placement Offers in India for Batch 2023

National Sports Day Celebrations

  Over 750 participate in cross country on occasion of National Sports Day   On the occasion of National Sports Day, Cross Country 2022 was organised by Chandigarh University wherein more than 750 students participated with the aim to raise awareness about the values of sports, discipline, perseverance, sportsman spirit, and teamwork, as well as to honour the nation's sports heroes and champions. In the boys category, a 4.2 kilometres Cross Country was organised where Rahul secured first position, followed by Nikhil and Bhupendra. In the girls category, the race distance was 3.4 kilometres, in which Kiran secured first position, followed by Mukta and Kushali.   A Walkathon was also organised for staff members early Monday morning at Varsity’s Gharuan campus. National Sports Day is celebrated every year on 29th August to commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey legend, Major Dhyan Chand.    

Tashan Nites at Chandigarh University

  CU freshmen witness extravaganza at star-studded Tashan Nites   Dozens of celebrated artists from Bollywood and Punjabi and Hindi Music Industry enthralled the newly-enrolled students at Chandigarh University in a series of musical nights organised at university campus under its Tashan Night series, to welcome the freshmen and acquainting them with the cosmopolitan culture of Chandigarh University. South superstar Vijay Devarakonda, Bollywood Superstar Randeep Hooda, diva Ananya Pandey, Punjabi heartthrob Neeru Bajawa, Gippy Grewal, Guggu Gill, Priti Sapru, Akhil, Aatish, Thoda Bai Pipi, Pranjal Dahiya, Afsana Khan, Saajz, Sukh-E, Musahib, Nagii, Sufi Sparrows, Stebin Ben, Resham Singh Anmol and others interacted with the students and enthralled everyone in attendance with their exhilarating renditions, over the course of the week.  

Orientation at Chandigarh University
