Chandigarh University bags 16 medals at Khelo India University Games 2023

  Chandigarh University (CU) students performed impressively well and bagged 16 medals, including 7 gold medals, during the recently concluded third edition of Khelo India University Games 2023.  The university also won an overall trophy in weightlifting (women) during the 10-day-long games held in Uttar Pradesh (UP). CU participated in eleven games with a contingent of 82 students who made the mark through their incredible performance in various competitions at the grand stage.   Contributing to the Indian Government's Khelo India initiative, focused on promoting grassroots sports and identifying young talents from across the country, Chandigarh University secured 7 Gold medals with one each in Athletics, Fencing, Rowing, Weightlifting, and Wrestling. Chandigarh University wins big at IEEE Delhi Section Student Awards Ceremony 2023

  Chandigarh University has added another award to its list of achievements during the prestigious IEEE Delhi Section Student Awards Ceremony 2023 hosted by the IEEE Student Branch of the NorthCap University to acknowledge the efforts and hard work of IEEE volunteers in the Delhi Section for the AY 2022-23 . IEEE Chandigarh University Student Branch participated in the IEEE Delhi Section Student Awards Ceremony 2023 and showcased their immense act of teamwork, a high spirit of volunteerism, and perseverance. The event also observed the reveal of the newly released IEEE Delhi SAC Mobile App and the IEEE Delhi SAC Newsletter 2022. ‘The Art of Living- Yes+’ workshop held at CU to impart practical wisdom & enhance confidence

  The Art of Living Foundation conducted the ‘Yes+ (Youth Empowerment Seminar+)’ workshop, a series of transformative self-development workshops on 19 th May in collaboration with the Department of Student Welfare (DSW) of Chandigarh University at its main campus. Yes+ Workshop aimed at energising the students and imparting a holistic knowledge of world by providing practical tools and techniques to lead a more balanced, joyful, healthy and fulfilling life. It will help students to enhance and build confidence in their skillsets. The workshop also incorporated ancient wisdom and techniques from yoga, meditation, and breathing exercises to promote overall well-being, stress reduction, and personal growth among the students. CU organized the 1st edition of Chandigarh Schools Excellence Awards (CSEA)

Chandigarh University organized the first-ever Chandigarh Schools Excellence Awards (CSEA) on 19 th May in association with Chandigarh Welfare Trust (CWT) at Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration (MGSIPA) in Sector 26, Chandigarh. It was organized to recognize and honour the consistent efforts of teachers and principals of schools in Chandigarh for their contributions in imparting quality education to the youth. The first edition of the Chandigarh Schools Excellence Awards witnessed a huge response in which more than 200 schools from all over Chandigarh participated. A total of 237 awards were conferred under 21 categories, which include 4 categories of principal’s awards, 7 categories of teacher’s awards, and 10 categories of school’s awards.
